Matt Hardy Clarifies His and Jeff Hardys Absence on 12/6 AEW Dynamite

August 2024 · 2 minute read

Matt Hardy is a true veteran in the pro wrestling business, having constantly reinvented himself over the years. Due to his extensive knowledge of the pro wrestling world, his opinion is taken seriously all the time. He and Jeff Hardy also missed last week’s Dynamite and now Matt Hardy explained why they were absent.

Matt Hardy is currently teaming up with his brother Jeff Hardy, but they have failed to win the AEW World Tag Team Championships so far. In fact, the Hardys haven’t really been able to do much in the past several months.

Matt Hardy did not appear on the December 6 episode of AEW Dynamite, which was taped in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Jeff Hardy wasn’t present for the show either. While speaking on The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy, Matt Hardy stated that Jeff Hardy still has issues getting into Canada. With Jeff Hardy not being present on the show, there was no need for Matt Hardy to be there either.

”No Matt at Dynamite tonight, and the reason being, it is in Canada, and my brother still has issues getting into Canada right now, and since Jeff wasn’t gonna be there, then I wasn’t going to be needed to be there.”

Matt Hardy also recently expressed frustrations with his and Jeff Hardy’s position in AEW. Regardless, only time will tell whether Tony Khan will have something substantial planned for The Hardys.
