Kim Kardashian West channeled her signature neutral, figure-fitting style at the CFDA Awards last night, which she attended in a two-piece crop top and skirt by Rick Owens. The reality star sported the beige ensemble with Christian Billets cuffed bracelets on both arms while accepting the inaugural Influencer prize at the ceremony in Brooklyn Museum.
The laid-back outfit was apt for Kardashian, who frequents sweats and biker shorts in paparazzi photo ops. "Lately my style has been really chill and my mom would kill me if I wore sweatpants and heels to a red carpet like this," she spilled on CFDA's Facebook Live, People reports. "So we wanted to do comfy and sexy," she said of her look.

We've seen Kim rock a similar ensemble before. She wore a blood red iteration of the look—this time by Balmain—at the Roc Nation pre-Grammys brunch in 2015. Though she'd opted for a different color scheme, the basic elements were all there: a midriff-baring crop top, a figure-fitting floor-length skirt, and golden cuffs around both of her wrists.

Three years ago, Kim's two-piece look was more adorned. The fiery fabric was covered in pleats. Her top had a cross halter neckline. She even wore a gold collar that matched her bangles over a chain and winged pendant. Plus, her husband (and stylist) Kanye West was on her arm. Last night's rendition of the look was much more minimal. Kardashian even attended solo, sans Yeezy.

Though Kardashian West ditched the naked dress this time around, she still joked about her frequent stripped down moments on social media while accepting her award: "I’m kind of shocked I’m winning a fashion award when I’m naked most of the time."
