Katy Perry was one of the many stars out celebrating at the Oscars after parties last night, and did so in style, arriving at the Vanity Fair bash in a sequinned Jean Paul Gaultier couture dress with a shredded skirt.

However, the singer suffered something of a wardrobe mishap when her dress appeared to split across the back. The 32-year-old was pictured leaning over to watch the Oscars live feed with James Corden, exposing a sheer strip of fabric where the skirt of her dress joined the bodice.

Naturally, Twitter users were quick to pick up on this.

Of course, Perry brushed off the incident with her characteristic nonchalance. Besides, everyone was too busy talking about these 15 awkward moments from the Oscars ceremony, instead.
