Emily Ratajkowski has everything we want and more: enviable street style, the ability to pull off daring Y2K styling hacks and… a fling with Harry Styles.

Despite the fact her relationship with Harry (can we call it 'HemRata'?) is seemingly over *cries into empty bowl of Harry Styles gossip*, there's one thing the host will never let go of: her impeccable style. And her post-HS wardrobe is currently consisting of two huge summer trends you need for your upcoming sartorial agenda: break up or no break up.

Pink two-pieces are the first thing you need in your wardrobe to take you from day to night, according to Emily and the Duchess of Sussex, who wore a surprising pastel shorts suit to the LA Lakers game last night.

Cementing that Barbiecore isn’t going anywhere for 2023, Emily wore a laid-back, fuschia pink trousers and shirt set that gave her signature street style a summery makeover. The baggy trousers channelled her beloved Y2K style (she used the ultimate retro jeans styling hack recently), whilst the oversized shirt was perfect to pair with jeans or shorts, trainers or boots.

Completely juxtaposing her demure pink agenda is her go-to dress code of 2022: sheer. EmRata could arguably be credited as an OG that revamped the 90s trend and brought it to life last year. She wore a semi-sheer black lace and beaded Miu Miu gown with spaghetti straps and an empire waistline to last year’s Cannes film festival in May. The trend then became the most prominent of the year both on and off the runway, and seemed to get evermore transparent as the year went on…

In an image uploaded to Instagram for her 30 million followers, Emily posed in a sheer t-shirt style crop top, paired with a low-rise monochrome skirt, and her current favourite go-to footwear: vintage tan knee high boots from Dior.

After footage of the supermodel kissing Harry in Tokyo became the most internet-breaking moment of 2023, EmRata told the Los Angeles Times “There’s a million insane, inaccurate things about my relationships [that are said],” she said in a voice note she sent from Japan. “I’m definitely still not thinking about guys." Then alluding to her kiss with the singer, continues: “Although, yeah. You know, sometimes things just happen.”

If you had FOMO not adding pink or sheer to your 2022 wardrobe, fear not. EmRata has proved both trends are here to stay for 2023. We're not quite sure how you kiss Harry Styles though, sorry.
