Taylor Swift baked her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, cinnamon rolls ahead of his game for the Kansas City Chiefs against the Los Angeles Chargers on October 22, marking a break from his traditional French toast snack.

Whilst the new custom, introduced by the Grammy-winning artist, could have disrupted his pregame routine it actually showed no signs of doing so as the Chiefs won out as 31-17 winners. Kelce produced stats of 12 receptions, 149 yards (14.9 per carry) and for one touchdown in the victory back in Week 7 of the NFL season.

"Taylor is so nice," ex-NFL quarterback Bernie Kosar said to the Tobin and Leroy Show. "She comes in by herself and she's so cool, she made her homemade cinnamon rolls for Travis for pregame meal.

"I'm a juicer right now, trying to be vegan and gluten-free and stuff, but I absolutely had to sample some of that cinnamon roll on game day."

Swift has watched seven Chiefs games in 2023 as she supports her boyfriend whenever she gets a moment to do so away from her Eras Tour gig, which is due to restart in February 2024.

Kosar's praise for Swift

Taylor Swift is often credited for her personality, being described as fun, sweet and kind by those around her. Whilst some suspect it's a carefully curated public image, Kosar believes she actually is that genuine.

He previously offered her plaudits for maintaining that despite her star status and wealth, pointing to another example when he watched the Chiefs-Cleveland Browns game alongside her.

"Flat-out, it's just amazing what a genuine, nice person she is," Kosar said to 92.3 The Fan in Cleveland. "With the unbelievable talent the star she's become, to see she's an even better person was just really cool. Yesterday was a special time."

Kosar played for the Browns between 1985-1993 in the NFL before going on to turn out foe the Dallas Cowboys and Miami Dolphins. At the Cowboys, he won Super Bowl XXVIII (1993).
